As a proud, privileged front of shirt sponsor of Coventry City FC for the 2023-4 season, the racist abuse of their player, Kasey Palmer on Saturday was unacceptable, and everyone at King of Shaves, and we are sure - the millions of people who enjoy shaving with us - stand behind the stance of, and statements made, by Executive Chairman and owner of Coventry, Doug King (my brother).

Please read the Coventry City Statement in full here, and Doug's Interview with BBCWR earlier today here.  As Doug, says - it's not points, it's not money - it's peer pressure from others witnessing obvious racist abuse, otherwise it's one disaffected and unacceptable individual defining a club, a sport, for thousands, tens of thousands, millions...

There is NO place in sport, indeed, the world - for racism.  And, in 2024, it is extraordinarily saddening to even be writing a blog post like this.

Along with Doug, manager Mark Robins, the team and of course Kasey, we hope there is. NO repeat of this unacceptable abuse when the clubs meet again on Friday in the FA Cup.
